Angela Talley, M.D.

Dr. Angela Talley is an infectious disease specialist, experienced clinical investigator and malaria researcher. She has trained at some of the top programs in the country including the National Institutes of Health, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Columbia University and the University of Washington. She is board-certified in both adult infectious disease and adult internal medicine and is clinical faculty with the University of Washington School of Medicine, Division of Allergy and Infectious Disease. Talley has over 8 years of experience in conducting malaria research and clinical trials, including prior investigations on malaria genetics and drug resistance, malaria field epidemiology in Peru and Tanzania and malaria and HIV vaccine clinical trials. She has been the lead trials investigator for the Malaria Clinical Trials Center (MCTC) since 2008 and recently established the human challenge model for malaria at the MCTC.
