With more than 100 collaborations with leading organizations throughout the U.S. and around the world, Seattle BioMed has powerful partnerships. Our partners range from dozens in the Seattle area to organizations literally half a world away in Kenya, India, Israel and beyond. Together, we can accomplish much more as we accelerate new solutions to fulfill our mission of a world free from the threat of infectious disease.

Association of Independent Research Institutes

Seattle BioMed is a member of AIRI, an association of independent, not-for-profit biomedical and behavioral research institutes. Its mission is to enhance the ability of its members to improve human health and advance knowledge.

Global Health Council

We are a member of the Global Health Council, the world's largest membership alliance dedicated to saving lives by improving health throughout the world. The Council works to ensure that all who strive for improvement and equity in global health have the information and resources they need to succeed.

Global Washington

As a member of Global Washington, Seattle BioMed supports the membership association promotion of the global development sector in the state of Washington. 

University of Washington
Since 1992, we have held a formal affiliation with the University of Washington. Our principal investigators are appointed as faculty members in departments such as global health, microbiology, epidemiology and others. Over the years, we have trained hundreds of UW students.

Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association

Seattle BioMed is a long-time member of WBBA, a trade association serving the life sciences industry in the state of Washington.

Washington Global Health Alliance
We are a founding member of the Washington Global Health Alliance, which is focused on strengthening Washington State's capacity to reduce health disparities globally.
